Sand, sun and surf surround the Towers window views. The beam ceilings and twinkle lights create a classic contemporary feel to the interior and accentuate the unique design of the room.
The new outside patio is perfect for a ceremony and cocktail hour featuring a view of the ocean. The Towers presents a laid back feel to the reception and make a sit back and enjoy your day statement.
Right away Katie and Mark made it clear that they were more of a “burger and shake” couple rather than “lobster and filet” couple. We got to work designing a menu and presentation that would let their personal style shine through. The result? The ultimate in comfort food, served at the long, family-style tables in the Towers’ great hall. To carry the theme along, our signature china was set with 1950s diner-style napkin holders.
On the menu: Mini grilled cheese sandwiches, horseradish cheddar mac ’n’ cheese bites, “peanut butter and jelly” canapés, Back Bay sliders with seasoned fries and onion rings and…(drum roll, please)…meatloaf martinis!
Dessert was just as playful: It began with the aroma of fresh popcorn from our vintage-style carts. Next up were root beer floats and cookies and milk. But the highlight was the made-to-order S’mores station where guests could choose from a variety of flavored graham crackers and chocolates—topped with a perfectly toasted marshmallow, courtesy of our chef.
