Shining Tides
Shining Tides, formerly an oceanfront restaurant and beach club in Mattapoisett, MA, was purchased in 1963 by the YMCA to offer programming for preschoolers, school-age children and families. Thanks to extensive renovations in 1991 it continues to serve the local community by day but by night it is quickly becoming one of the premier wedding locations on the Southcoast.
Floral décor and votive candles added an intimate touch to waterfront dining. Crab Cakes as a passed hors d’oeuvres were a perfect complement to the view.
The vistas of Mattapoisett Harbor set the background for the ceremony and were enjoyed all evening.
Tempting chilled salads were waiting for the guests after cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the lawn with all the surroundings that make this the perfect spot for an Oceanside wedding in New England.
